Tips Elak Fokus Terganggu kerana Handphone

Bismillah.

Saya pun sama, sebab tu saya dah buat cara ni iaitu delete App FB. Bukan suruh deactivate FB tau, tapi jangan ada app FB kat handphone. Bermakna, kalau anda nak bukak FB, guna lah laptop.

Tulis siap-siap, pukul sekian-sekian, kita nak siapkan kerja sekian-sekian.

Let's be productive rather than busy.

TIPS BUAT SALES GUNA FB (Part 1)

Bismillah.

Boleh share untuk manfaat bersama.

What Should I Write Then?

Bismillah.

Juggling between business and housewife chores is not a valid reason for me to rarely write here as I did a few months before. Yeah, I am still adapting myself with a hectic life style as a businesswoman who's still in her beginner's pace to reach her goals.

Okay off with that. Nothing beneficial to talk about me and me and me. I feel like writing here after I saw someone shared THIS article on facebook. I do agree with it. Lots of things that we shared on FB sometimes are hurting others without us noticing it. What kind of status? Erm, any status that describes about their everyday stories; what they cooked, where they ate, which country they've been, etcetera etcetera etcetera. People might say that they just wanna share about their daily lives activities, with no reason to brag at all, but still, some people do feel bad or sad about the status they read, simply because they don't get to experience the things mentioned in those self-stories.

So what is it actually that we need to share or write? Why there are just too many do's and don'ts? Is it truly wrong to share about our lives to others? Ops, I think the right question is; is it truly necessary to share about our lives with people that don't matter to us? I know it feels good when lots of people 'like' our status. But, we still need to bear in mind that opening up too much about us is not a healthy activity. ;)

For the question raised earlier, for me, the answer is: write, but not about yourself. Some people might say that they wanna inspire others from their stories. Yes, but do you know something? Lots of stories failed to inspire others because the readers can't figure out which part of other people's stories that can benefit them. Just write generally, for example if we want to inspire others about doing good deeds, straight away write how and what and why, instead of telling the good deeds that we've done. Same goes to the issue about raising kids. Do write about it, perhaps by listing down tips or steps or anything regarding that issue in general. NOT by telling the world how you raise your kids. Maybe once in a while is okay, but still, I prefer to say that personal life events should not be told publicly IF your objective is to inspire others.

However, honestly I still have no objection about people who love to post too much about them and their families. It's their choice, their right, their FB. ;) As for me, starting from now, I wanna try to avoid writing about me or my family inshaAllah. But hey, I don't deny that there are many personal stories out there that are worth reading, and maybe you (yes, YOU) can write it too; with a condition that we really take care about our style of writing so that it doesn't sound as if we are bragging.

It is a small yet complicated matter actually. But I still wanna write about it. :D

Be kind.

Choose to be kind over being right. Always.

Remember that we live in society.

Don't forget that lots of people are less fortunate than us.

Nostalgically

Bismillah.

Alhamdulillah. A very beautiful and nostalgic day, it was.

Went to IIUM.
Spent a few hours there.
Met new and familiar faces.
Talked to strangers.
Chit chatted with old friends.
Listened to kuliah.
An absolutely exquisite hours of the day.

Honestly IIUM is the biggest piece of yesterday that still haunts me, day and night. Not in a bad way, instead it always leave me smiling and sometimes in tears, but tears that I can't describe the reason behind it, yet I am sure that the rolling pearls on my cheeks aren't because of sadness. Or maybe I can simply say, it's a longing. Longing for the past to happen again, even for a few hours, just to give the heart a nice feeling for a while. Ahh, reminiscing the past is indeed one of my best ability. ;)

Having a chance to make an existence in IIUM during night hours somehow gives me an extra nostalgic feeling. Walking down the memory lanes, whilst the soul is flying back to the places it has been to, kinda torturing the heart. Those are the places that had witnessed my hardships, my happiness, my struggles, my laughter, my devastation, my sadness, my bad days, my sweetest memory, and everything I had been through for three years.

No, this is not my first "homecoming" to IIUM after graduation. In fact, I always come here depends on the need. But still, the feeling of longing for yesterday is strongly sealed in the heart. Because I finally realized that, it's not the place that I really miss, it's the moments. Moments that will never ever return no matter how hard I try to complete all the little puzzles of those years. Even if I pursue my master here, it will never ever be the same as those few years back. It will definitely give me a new days with new adventures which are totally different from before.

Well, I think I need to stop ranting here. Coz it's already late and I have to go to sleep first. Or else I can't stop telling you about each and every part of the things about my university life that I really missed.

Just so you know, that IIUM is indeed an important part of me. And it contributes a lot to what I am today. May Allah bless all the people that had taught me a lot about life and relationships. Thank you Allah for making IIUM a part of my journey.

Kimbap aka Korean Sushi

Bismillah.

Last Saturday was the giving-certificate ceremony for my baby. Alhamdulillah she completed her 1st module of playgroup. The parents were informed to bring some finger foods to the event. So I decided to make kimbap or known as Korean Sushi. Well, let the picture explains about the recipe. I am too lazy to write. :p

A few notes:

1. Use the japanese rice.
2. Boil the carrots and crab sticks for a while first.
3. Another ingredient not seen in the first picture: tuna.

That's it.

Simple, right? :)

P.s.: I learned how to make kimbap from my sis in law who graduated from Korea. She is now handling her bakery business and one of her signature meal is kimbap. If you live in the vicinity of Johor Bahru or Skudai, you can order kimbap (or cookies & cakes) from her. Like her fb page: baker's oben.

Central Africa Republic

Bismillah.

In case you are wondering what's happening there to our brothers and sisters.

Ya Rabb....

I wonder if there's any NGO in Malaysia that collect donations for them. If you know any, please tell me. Jazakumullahu khayran.

This is True Love

Bismillah.

Now there's a face only a mother could love!

It's true! There are some faces only a mother can love! My family and I were looking through my nephews and nieces photos of them growing up, and subhanAllah, we realized how NOT cute they used to be, yet to us they were the cutest little things in the world!

Have you ever wondered how a mother can love her child despite the labour she goes through, despite losing sleep, having to put up with the crying through the night, changing poop filled nappies, cleaning up mess, getting peed on, and all the other messy chores of raising children?

Have you ever seen a really annoying baby and thought, oh boy! I am NEVER having kids! Or even seen someone who once had that attitude suddenly change upon having a baby join their family?

Have you not seen a big tattooed thug looking guy, holding their son or daughter? What could possibly explain this bond? This blind love? This buttery affection that suddenly enters a persons heart when they hold their child? ALLAH! How is that, you ask?

Allah places love, affection and mercy in our hearts so that we may love each other, miss each other and protect each other. Allah places the motherly and fatherly instincts in our hearts, and ties us together with bonds that years apart often do not separate, we always have that soft spot for those who share the same blood, even in the most extreme instances of anger.

Allah gives us life, gives us love, gives us wealth, health and all necessities. Not a leaf falls without His knowledge. If you think a mothers love is unsurpassed... His love triumphs that infinitely. Discover Allah today.
